Hello there! My name is Dyson, and I'm so excited to meet you! I've been told I'm quite the affectionate and loving pup. Belly rubs and cuddles are my absolute favorite—I can't get enough of them! I'll stick by your side like a shadow because being with my humans is the best.
I'm pretty smart too! I've mastered sitting on command and, let's be honest, begging for food (I'm a foodie at heart!). Speaking of food, I have a bit of a reputation for inhaling my meals, so a slow feeder bowl might be a good idea. I'm gentle when taking treats from your hand, though—gotta mind my manners!
Currently, I share my space with two cats. While we're not best buddies yet, I'm learning to coexist peacefully. I don't bark or chase them around—I'm a good boy like that. I've also met a few dogs, and once I realized they just wanted to play, I was all in! I think I'd really benefit from some more socialization with other doggy pals.
I'm a great travel buddy too! Put me in the backseat of a car, and I'll happily snuggle up next to you or curl up under your arm for the ride. If you're away at work during the day, I think I'd do best with a doggy friend to keep me company. I'm all about the pack life!

Our dogs are living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet. By submitting an Expression of Interest Form, you will receive a response within 14 days. Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing.
Our dogs are generally desexed at 6 months of age. If the dog you are applying for is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided for use at one of our approved vet providers only. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC. Adoption fees are required to be paid in full before taking the animal onto trial.
