Adopt a Dog

Our dogs available for adoption are all living in private foster homes and are available for you to meet.

Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing.  If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided.  A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.

BARRC treat every adopter as an individual, rather than meeting every application with a rigid set of questions that require yes/no answers destined to disqualify them at some point along the way, we are striving to work with adopters to be the best pet owners they can be.  This means working with each adopter to help them find an appropriate pet that fits their specific lifestyle.  By supporting adopters rather than judging them, we can place more animals in homes and shorten their length of stay in foster care.

Post-adoption support and remaining in touch with adopters plays an important role in trying to ensure that the adoption is successful over the lifetime of the animal.
