Adopt a Dog - See available dogs below
BARRC dogs are part of our extended family, we ensure they are sterilised and microchipped.
Our aim is to match the dog to the owner and our adoption service includes post-adoption support and care to ensure success.
Our adoption fee includes a general health check, flea and worming treatment, vaccination, microchipping and desexing. If the dog is too young for desexing, a voucher is provided. A 14 day adoption trial period is available when adopting an animal from BARRC.
At BARRC we think of ourselves as one big growing family, thus with every adoption, we gain a new family member. We consider ourselves as supporters of adopters, treating each new addition not only as an individual but as part of our extended family.
We strive to work with owners to be the best pet owners they can be. This means we work with our applicants to ensure we find the perfect pet that fits their individual lifestyle.
Post-adoption support and remaining in touch with adopters plays an important role in trying to ensure that the adoption is successful over the lifetime of the animal.
To ensure the dog is the best match for your home and lifestyle, we encourage you to read the full information provided on the dog’s SavourLife profile prior to submitting your enquiry to adopt.
To view our available dogs, please visit the BARRC page on the SavourLife website. Dogs are placed on hold whilst our volunteer team filter through the applications. And please don’t forget to keep an eye on our website for ‘Coming Soon’ options.
We are unfortunately unable to accept Expressions of Interest in advance of a dog being advertised as we are often heavily inundated with requests for specific dogs.
Note: All applications are to be conducted via the link(s) provided. All applicants are responded to within 14 days of receipt of the Expression of Interest Form.
